DAYBreak Respite Care

LIVING LIFE FULLY
is a daily experience.

Respite Care Ministry and DAYBreak

Centenary’s Respite Care Ministry recognizes the growing need for support and care of aging adults and their families. A very special part of this ministry is DAYBreak Respite Care.  DAYBreak’s goal is “to give a good day” to its participants and their caregivers.

During DAYBreak Respite Care hours, family members know that their loved ones are in a safe, supportive and positive environment. A typical day involves exercise, volunteer projects, learning opportunities, music, meals and snacks, mutual support and lots of laughter.  Our group volunteers regularly with pre-school children from Foundations at 4½ Street, Centenary's childcare center.  Outings, music and even yoga are routine activities in the DAYBreak schedule.

A highly qualified staff and committed corps of volunteers lead DAYBreak.  DAYBreak is offered 10:00 am-3:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

In addition to DAYBreaks on-site care, Centenary's Respite Care ministry also provides caregiver support, education & resource and referral assistance. If you have questions or would like more information please contact Jan Sawyer (397-1345) or select one of the links below.
