Prison Ministry Volunteers Needed
We are asking for volunteers to help Reverend Maria Edmonds and Kurt Carlan to lead worship in our local minimum security prison.  No training or experience is necessary, but a joyful and grateful heart is needed. Once you sign up you will be assigned a part in the worship service. We gather on a Sunday evening at 5:45 pm at the 4½ Street Entrance to travel to the prison together – located at N. Cherry Street and Craft Drive. An orientation will take place from 6:00-7:00 pm, the service will be from 7:00-8:00 pm, and fellowship time with the volunteers and inmates will be from 8:00-8:30 pm. Email Maria Edmonds (medmonds@centenary-ws.org) if you are interested.  Dates available this fall are: November 7, 14, 21

Volunteers Needed for The Children's Home Food Garden
We will meet on Wednesday's (5:30 pm), now through October.  We are finishing the harvest of the summer crops and will start picking the fall crops in about three weeks.  We still have lots of tomatoes, okra and chili peppers.
